The best RUNAWAYS loadout is the smallest setup that completes the chosen objective. For an ordinary pawn loop, preserve carrying space. For a vault, add the current community-reported crowbar. For Mexico, prioritize fuel, a controllable vehicle, and mobility. For a police-level challenge, keep the route and storage plan stable before adding weapons.
Beginner robbery loadout
Begin with mostly empty inventory, the tool required by the chosen building if one is shown, and a vehicle you can control. Practice E equip or drag, X drop, F inventory, and the current interaction before taking loot. A weapon is optional; adding one can consume attention or space without improving the first sale.
Carry one or two manageable objects and complete the pawn transaction. If capacity genuinely limits repeated sales, inspect the current backpack choices. Community guides recommend a medium backpack, but exact price and capacity need live confirmation.
Vault loadout
Current walkthroughs use a crowbar to prepare for a vault. Keep it accessible, reserve inventory space, and stage the vehicle facing the exit. The official Heist badge confirms that breaching a vault is a tracked objective, while the exact tool flow remains community evidence.
Do not fill the setup with unknown weapons or loot before the breach. The route needs room for whatever the vault provides. If the prompt fails, verify the tool and target rather than changing every item.
Mexico escape loadout
Choose a vehicle that you have already driven, check fuel, and keep the carried setup light enough for quick entry. Community routes and official badges support Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, then Mexico. A paper-fast vehicle is not automatically best if its handling, armor, fuel behavior, or your touch controls make checkpoint approaches unreliable.
Bring only gear you expect to use. Preserve CREDZ for route costs. Complete one normal border escape before combining it with a vault haul, High Roller balance, or police level 5.
Level-5 challenge loadout
FDI Most Wanted officially requires reaching police level 5, and Hardened Criminal requires escaping to Mexico while at level 5. Use the same vehicle and route that already completed an ordinary escape. Stage fuel and exits before raising attention.
A weapon may support the run, but its current performance and loss rule must be understood. The Starter Pack officially warns that its Glocks and Bats are single-run use unless stored with the Weapons guy. Do not risk a paid item merely to test an uncertain interaction.
Role comparison
Improve from the failure report
After a run, identify one cause. Full inventory suggests capacity or item selection. A missed vault prompt suggests tool preparation. An empty tank suggests route budgeting. Repeated crashes suggest vehicle practice or a different paper-stat tradeoff. A lost weapon suggests storage and risk control.
Change one component and repeat. This produces a personal best loadout backed by the current build. It is more useful than copying a ranking whose class, vehicle, and beta version are unknown.
Sources and confidence
Controls, badge objectives, Starter Pack wording, weapon identities, and paid vehicle stats are Official. Crowbar and backpack advice are Community corroborated. Weapon performance, ordinary item stats, and any universal loadout ranking remain Needs in-game testing.
Write down the exact setup that completed the route, including vehicle, selected tools, free inventory space, fuel plan, device, and date. On the next run, change only the component intended to solve the recorded failure. This creates a current personal recommendation without claiming that another player must buy or unlock the same items.
